Automation Test Engineer | Mid-Level (3–5 Years)
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop & maintain automated test scripts
- Build and maintain automation frameworks using Selenium (Java) for Oracle Fusion Cloud modules
- Develop reusable test components and page objects
- Integrate automated suites into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins/Azure DevOps)
- Test Planning & Execution
- Analyse business requirements and functional specs to derive automation-ready test cases.
- Execute automated regression, smoke, and sanity test cycles.
- Log, track and retest defects using JIRA/ALM.
- Collaboration
- Work alongside Oracle Fusion functional consultants to understand, architect and create business process flows.
- Provide test reports and dashboards to stakeholders.
- Continuous Improvement
- Identify opportunities to expand automation coverage.
- Stay updated with Oracle Fusion quarterly patch releases and adjust test suites accordingly.
Must-Have Requirements
- 3–5 years of QA automation experience, with at least 2 years on Oracle Fusion Cloud is preferable
- Strong proficiency in Selenium WebDriver with Java (TestNG/JUnit framework) is preferred
- Good understanding of Oracle Fusion modules – is a plus
- Experience with test management tools (JIRA, ALM, Azure Test Plans)
- Basic knowledge of CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins/Azure DevOps).
- Strong analytical and debugging skills.
Nice-to-Have / Preferred Skills
- Oracle Fusion SaaS certification (any module).
Education & Certifications
Education: B.E. / B.Tech / MCA in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
