Role: Deputy Manager - Automation

Location: Jeewana, Rajasthan

Candidates should be comfortable traveling to multiple locations based on business requirements, including Gujarat, Himachal Pradesh, Maharashtra, and other regions as needed.

Role Overview:

The role is responsible for end-to-end ownership of automation and machinery operations across multiple locations, ensuring optimal uptime, performance, and reliability. It involves driving preventive and breakdown maintenance, coordinating with vendors, training operators, and supporting installations and upgrades to enable smooth and efficient on-ground operations.

Key Responsibilities

- End-to-End Ownership: Manage all machines across mandis, ensuring uptime, output, and overall health.

- Maintenance: Drive preventive and breakdown maintenance to reduce repeat failures and downtime.

- Performance: Ensure machines meet target throughput, utilization, and efficiency.

- Compliance: Enforce SOPs, safety standards, and correct operating practices.

- Training: Train operators on proper usage and first-level troubleshooting.

- Vendor Management: Manage OEMs, AMCs, and service vendors while ensuring SLA adherence.

- Reporting: Track and report downtime, output loss, and maintenance costs.

- Support: Assist with new installations, upgrades, and peak-season readiness.

- Machine uptime (%)

- Output vs. planned capacity

- Breakdown frequency and Mean Time to Repair (MTTR)

- Maintenance cost control

- SOP adherence

Desired Profile

- 35 years of experience in machine-heavy operations or maintenance.

- Strong on-ground ownership mindset and comfortable with multi-location travel.

- Data-driven, hands-on, and execution-focused.

- Proficiency in AutoCAD.

- Experience in machine design.
