Automation Engineer

As an Automation Engineer, you will design, build, and maintain automation systems that reduce manual effort and enhance operational efficiency. You'll work closely with development, QA, and operations teams to create robust automation workflows and improve system reliability.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and maintain automation scripts, tools, and frameworks.

Automate repetitive operational tasks to enhance productivity.

Integrate automation solutions with existing systems and platforms.

Monitor system performance and optimize automation workflows.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams for deployment and testing automation.

Troubleshoot automation failures and ensure smooth operations.

Document automation processes, workflows, and best practices.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

Strong experience with automation tools (e.g., Selenium, Jenkins, Ansible, GitHub Actions, Puppet, Chef based on company stack).

Good knowledge of scripting languages such as Python, Bash, PowerShell, or JavaScript.

Experience in CI/CD deployment pipelines.

Familiarity with APIs, webhooks, and system integrations.

Understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP is a plus).

Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Ability to work independently in a remote environment.

Preferred Skills (Good to Have)

Knowledge of Docker / Kubernetes.

Experience in monitoring tools (Grafana, Prometheus, ELK, etc.).

Exposure to RPA tools (UiPath / Automation Anywhere) is a plus.

Understanding of Agile environments.
