| We are seeking a highly skilled Automation Engineer with strong expertise in Python and PowerShell scripting to design, develop, and maintain automation solutions for system administration, DevOps, and cloud operations. The candidate should have a strong background in automation frameworks, API integrations, and infrastructure management using scripting and automation tools. Key Responsibilities: Develop and maintain automation scripts using Python and PowerShell for deployment, monitoring, and configuration management. Automate repetitive operational tasks and system workflows to improve efficiency and reduce manual effort. Integrate automation scripts with CI/CD pipelines and ITSM tools. Develop reusable modules and utilities for cloud and on-premise environments. Collaborate with DevOps, infrastructure, and application teams to implement automation solutions. Perform script testing, debugging, and documentation for continuous improvement. Work with APIs, JSON, and RESTful services for system integration. Monitor automation performance and ensure compliance with security and governance policies. Technical Skills: Core: Python, PowerShell, Automation Frameworks, REST APIs, JSON, XML DevOps/CI-CD: Jenkins, Git, Ansible, Terraform (optional) Cloud: AWS / Azure (automation and resource management) OS: Windows & Linux Administration Databases: MySQL / SQL Server / PostgreSQL (basic scripting) Other Tools: ServiceNow, Jira, or any ticketing tool for automation triggers Preferred Skills: Experience with Azure Runbooks / AWS Lambda automation. Familiarity with Docker / Kubernetes scripting and orchestration. Exposure to Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles. Knowledge of network automation or Active Directory management via scripts.
