Educational Requirements
-Technical education.

Desired Knowledge / Experience
-General understanding of welding timers and guns is desirable.
-Hand on experience for Programming and Maintenance of various type of robotics application like welding, preferrable Kuka and NC Controller
-Knowledge of welding parameters for MiG/MaG welding
-Knowledge of PLCs, like Siemens Step 7, S1200...etc
-Knowledge of simulation softwares, like RobCAD, Process Simulate
-Familiarity with basics of global Industrial Robot standards and specification.
-Working knowledge in Quality, EHS standards and Ergonomics.
-Knowledge of CAD and PLM tools (CATIA, DELMIA)

-Key Responsibilities:
-Make adjustments on existing robot weld programs
-Program spot welding / MiG welding robot on various systems to ensure optimal production output
-Review and improve robotic process and sequence to improve cycle times
-Provide daily production support for robotic weld cells
-Conduct troubleshooting and repairs on PLC controlled systems and programs
-Check completed parts to ensure compliance with required weld quality acceptance criteria
-Modify existing robot programs to improve robot reliability, maintainability,& performance
-Conduct root cause analysis for all robot downtimes
-Work with equipment OEM to improve robotic cells and address operational issues
-Continuous improvement of robotic stations efficiencies
-Leading co-engineering phase during design development
-Conduct trainings for Operators
-Lead the SAT and FAT validation for Robotic Cells
-Strong co-ordination with consultant team for design review, schedule monitoring, detail planning activity
-Productivity Improvement intiatives
-Manage all documents control, special process, flow charts. Prepare & maintain assembly instructions for production area
-Participating to the development of the tooling strategy including the evaluation of re-use of existing tooling
-Collision detection Test for the first serial production
-Prepare SOP for robot programming & maintenance
-ONLINE programming : Robot sequence validation, welding spot validation, cycle time validation using RobCAD/Process Simulate softwares
-Installation, verification of welding robots bringing the system to stage ready for production.
-Breakdown analysis, Root cause of Corrective Maintenance and Preventive Maintenance, Elimination of the problems, MTTR, MTBF, Utility cost controlling, maintenance cost controlling
-Leading Digitalization drive for complete site
-Implementation of Low Cost Automations
-Other activities:
-Bring his expertise to the industrial Costing Manager during tender phase
-Participates to R&D programs as industrial representative.
