Description
The Project Supply Chain Lead will oversee and manage supply chain projects to optimize processes and improve efficiency. This role requires a strategic thinker with extensive experience in supply chain management, project coordination, and team leadership.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage supply chain projects from initiation to completion.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project alignment with business objectives.
- Analyze supply chain processes to identify areas for improvement and implement best practices.
- Develop project plans, timelines, and budgets, and ensure they are adhered to throughout the project lifecycle.
- Monitor project progress and performance, providing regular updates to stakeholders.
- Identify risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure project success.
- Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to optimize the supply chain operations.
- Train and mentor junior team members in supply chain project management best practices.
Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 8-10 years of experience in supply chain management or project management.
- Strong understanding of supply chain processes and logistics.
- Proficient in project management tools and software (e.g., Microsoft Project, Asana, Trello).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for stakeholder engagement.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Knowledge of Lean and Six Sigma methodologies is a plus.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools and techniques.
