AutoCAD Engineer / Design Engineer - Fire Protection Systems

We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented AutoCAD Engineer / Design Engineer to join our team. The candidate will be responsible for preparing precise 2D/3D layouts and technical drawings for various fire protection systems such as fire hydrants, fire alarm systems, sprinklers, and smoke detectors.

Responsibilities:

• Create and revise AutoCAD drawings based on fire protection project requirements.
• Read and interpret MEP, architectural, and structural layouts.
• Coordinate with engineers and site teams to modify and update designs.
• Maintain drawing logs, revision records, and documentation registers.
• Ensure all drawings comply with NFPA standards, local codes, and project specs.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Diploma or B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or related field is required.
• 2-3 years of drafting experience in MEP, piping, or fire protection systems is essential.
• Proficient in AutoCAD 2D is mandatory (Revit knowledge is an added advantage).
• Ability to read technical drawings and construction plans is required.
• Good communication and coordination skills are necessary.
