Job Description

  • Responsible for the first-level review and approval of auditor CVs and profiles during initial qualification, qualification extensions, or reactivation.
  • Ensure accurate and up-to-date records of auditor qualifications across relevant tools and platforms (e.g., standards portals, Group auditor matrix).
  • Monitor and follow up on ongoing auditor qualification maintenance activities to ensure continued compliance.

Responsibilities

  • Update auditor qualification criteria in collaboration with Global Scheme Managers.
  • Review applications from candidate auditors globally, ensuring CVs and supporting documents meet required qualification standards.
  • Collect and verify all evidence related to applications, maintaining complete and compliant auditor files.
  • Determine the standards and categories for which the candidate auditor qualifies or may qualify for an extension.
  • Coordinate final sign-off with accredited Certification Bodies (CBs), ensuring all qualification processes are correctly followed.
  • Upload approved CVs and profiles to relevant portals (e.g., CPO portals), where permitted.
  • Track qualification maintenance activities (e.g., witness audits, calibration sessions, in-house trainings) and follow up with accredited offices to ensure timely completion.
  • Regularly collect audit logs and evidence of new qualifications for all auditors.
  • Maintain and update relevant tools and databases (e.g., Food Assurance auditors matrix).
  • Propose and support the development of training content (e.g., online modules) to support auditor qualification extensions and upgrades.

Key Stakeholders

  • Global Scheme Managers (GSMs): Provide updates on standard-specific qualification requirements.
  • Accredited Certification Bodies (CBs): Sign off final auditor profiles and oversee qualification maintenance.
