The ideal candidate will lead initiatives to generate and engage with business partners to build new business for the company. This candidate will be focused and have strong communication skills. They should be able to think critically when making plans and have a demonstrated ability to execute a particular strategy.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and develop new business opportunities for Audit & Assurance services
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, CXOs, and key stakeholders
- Generate leads through networking, referrals, cold outreach, and market research
- Understand client requirements and propose customized audit solutions
- Collaborate with internal audit teams to ensure smooth project execution
- Prepare proposals, presentations, and commercial negotiations
- Track market trends, competitor activity, and industry developments
- Achieve revenue targets and contribute to overall business growth strategy
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Finance, Business, or related field (MBA preferred)
- 3–8 years of experience in business development, preferably in Audit / CA firms / Consulting
- Strong understanding of Audit, Assurance, Risk Advisory, or Compliance services
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
- Ability to manage multiple clients and stakeholders
Preferred Experience
- Experience working with CA firms, Big4, or consulting organizations
- Exposure to industries like BFSI, Manufacturing, IT, or Startups
- Existing network of corporate clients is a plus
