This is a full-time on-site role for an Astronomy Educator, based in Mangaluru. The Astronomy Educator will design and deliver effective lesson plans, conduct engaging astronomy education sessions both in classrooms and in portable planetarium setups, and inspire curiosity about space and science. Key responsibilities include conducting hands-on workshops, providing training to students and faculty, and facilitating interactive activities centered around astronomy concepts. The role involves ensuring that educational content is accessible, high-quality, and adapted to different age groups and learning levels.

• Experience in teaching, training, and delivering engaging educational sessions
• Strong skills in lesson planning and curriculum development
• Excellent communication skills and ability to engage effectively with learners of various age groups
• Ability to inspire curiosity and make complex topics accessible and enjoyable
• Passion for astronomy and science education
• Bachelor's degree in Education, Astronomy, Physics, or related fields (preferred but not mandatory)
• Previous experience in outreach programs or classroom settings is an advantage
