Job Description for Associate Professor and Assistant Professor BFSI
1. Financial Management & Budget Planning
- Develop and finalize the school's annual budget in alignment with the school objectives.
- Establish short- and long-term financial objectives, ensuring optimal allocation of resources.
- Monitor income and expenditure to maintain financial discipline within the approved budget.
- Regularly monitor and report on expenditure versus budget projections.
- Ensure timely fee collection, actively monitor outstanding dues, and implement recovery strategies.
- Recommend appropriate actions against fee defaulters while ensuring compliance with University policies.
2. Admissions, Business Development & Branding
- Plan and execute comprehensive admission strategies, including marketing campaigns, digital marketing, outreach activities, admission campaigns and campus engagement events.
- Lead the school's marketing and branding initiatives to enhance national and international visibility.
- Develop and maintain a consistent brand identity.
- Coordinate seamlessly with departments including admissions, digital marketing, purchasing, and external agencies.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of marketing strategies and adapt as necessary to meet enrolment targets.
3. Industry Networking & Partnerships
- Foster industry relationships to promote programs, organize industry-led sessions, workshops, and site visits.
- Initiate and manage collaborations with companies relevant to the school's programs / specializations.
- Build networks with professional associations, sector-specific organizations, and global academic institutions.
- Facilitate the signing of MOUs and ensure the effective implementation of partnerships.
4. Team Building & Human Resource Management
- Plan faculty manpower for upcoming academic sessions, ensuring compliance with faculty-student ratios.
- Assess faculty requirements based on curriculum needs and student strength.
- Lead recruitment processes, including scrutiny of applications, conduct of interviews and demo lectures etc.
- Address faculty and staff concerns promptly, fostering a positive work environment.
- Provide mentorship, conduct performance appraisals, and support professional development.
For Professor:
- Ph.D. in Engineering Finance Background with relevant 8-10 years of experience in a large conglomerate.*
- Master in commerce background with relevant working experience of 12/15 years in a large conglomerate.*
- Graduation with relevant working experience of 15 years in a large conglomerate.*
- Ph.D. / Masters / with a minimum of 5 patents and 5 years of experience in a start-up.
Required: Bloomberg terminal, python for finance, insurrect, retch, open banking, Algo Trading, Equity market , behavioral finance, financial modelling.
Must have experience in finance coding.
