Role Overview We are looking for an experienced and dedicated Associate Professor of Anatomy to join a prestigious medical college. The successful candidate will lead departmental academic activities, mentor students, and contribute to the institution's research and teaching excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Academic Leadership: Oversee the department's teaching curriculum for undergraduate (MBBS) and postgraduate (MD Anatomy) students.
- Instructional Excellence: Conduct lectures, tutorials, and practical sessions, including cadaveric dissection, histology, and neuroanatomy.
- Mentorship: Supervise postgraduate research projects, dissertations, and departmental academic planning.
- Research & Publication: Actively contribute to research, publish in indexed journals, and participate in national/international medical conferences.
- Assessment & Compliance: Manage student assessments (OSPE/OSCE) and ensure all departmental activities adhere strictly to National Medical Commission (NMC) standards and accreditation requirements.
Required Qualifications & Experience
- Qualification: MD/MS/DNB in Anatomy from a recognized medical institution.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of teaching experience as an Assistant Professor in a recognized medical college.
- Research: Evidence of research publications in indexed journals as per NMC requirements.
- Skills: Proficiency in modern pedagogical methods, strong communication skills, and a commitment to academic discipline.
