Associate Product Manager

Role Overview

Rooter is looking for an Associate Product Manager to support key product initiatives across the company, with Rooter Shop as the primary area of focus. In this role, you will contribute to product execution, discovery, and optimization while working closely with cross-functional teams including Engineering, Design, Growth, Operations, Marketing, and Business.

You will help translate user problems, business opportunities, and market insights into well-defined product requirements and assist in building scalable, user-centric products that drive customer value and business impact.

This role is ideal for someone who is excited to solve real user problems, work with product data, move fast, and build consumer products at the intersection of gaming, commerce, and digital consumer behaviour.

Key Responsibilities

Product Development & Execution

• Support the execution of the product roadmap for Rooter Shop and other strategic product initiatives
• Write PRDs, define feature requirements, and assist in prioritizing the product backlog
• Work closely with engineering and design teams to deliver high-quality product experiences end-to-end
• Ensure smooth coordination across sprints, releases, and product launches

Product Discovery

• Support product discovery through user insights, data analysis, competitor benchmarking, and experimentation
• Help identify user problems, business opportunities, and product improvement areas
• Translate insights into clear product requirements and feature proposals

Product Metrics & Data Analysis

• Track and analyze key product metrics such as conversion, retention, engagement, monetization, and funnel performance
• Use SQL and Python to analyze product data and derive actionable insights
• Monitor feature performance and identify opportunities for product improvement

Product Optimization

• Support continuous optimization of product flows including purchase journey, pricing and promotional offers, checkout experience, catalog visibility, post-purchase experience

Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Collaborate with growth, business, and operations teams to improve customer acquisition and user experience
• Support the launch and scaling of new product initiatives beyond Rooter Shop
• Share product insights, updates, and recommendations with internal stakeholders

Requirements

• 34 years of experience in Product Management, preferably in consumer internet, gaming, e-commerce, marketplace, fintech, or digital products
• Strong problem-solving skills and an ability to balance user needs with business goals
• Proficiency in SQL and Python for product data analysis
• Strong understanding of product metrics, funnel analysis, experimentation, and prioritization
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to take ownership of product features and operate with accountability

Qualifications

B.E / B.Tech / M.Tech in Computer Science or a related technical discipline

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience building or contributing to 01 or 110 consumer products
• Exposure to growth, monetization, or commerce-led product functions
• Familiarity with payments, digital goods, retention, or marketplace products
• Working knowledge of analytics tools, dashboards, and experimentation frameworks
