Job Description

Here's what your day would look like -

At Privy, your day starts by diving into real problems that matter. You'll work closely with engineering, design, and leadership teams to break down user needs, prioritise them ruthlessly based on business value, and drive product decisions with a strong sense of ownership.

  • You'll actively participate in customer conversations - we conduct nearly 1215 customer demos every week and you'll play a key role in a few of these, listening carefully to feedback from CXOs and product leaders, and helping the team reprioritise intelligently based on real-world insights.
  • You'll also take the lead in giving crisp product demos to clients, including CXO-level stakeholders, showcasing the thoughtfulness and impact of what you are building.
  • Some days, you'll be deeply involved in shaping high-impact SaaS workflows; other days, you'll explore how AI techniques like LLMs and RAG can enhance existing modules of Privy including designing better prompting strategies forAI pipelines embedded across different workflows.
  • You'll write clear PRDs, groom Jira tickets with engineering, validate builds hands-on, and collaborate across design, tech, and business teams to ensure what we ship is truly impactful.
  • When you're not building, you're learning experimenting with new AI models, fine-tuning prompts, and staying sharp on evolving product and compliance trends.
  • At Privy, you don't just manage backlogs. You own outcomes, learn fast, and build products that move industries forward towards DPDP compliance.

Experience Required -

  • 13 years of experience in Product Management, preferably in a SaaS-based environment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and structured thinking ability.
  • Demonstrated business acumen understands the why behind features, prioritizes for business impact, and can break down user problems to drive user-centric solutions.
  • Experience shipping SaaS platforms that delivered measurable business outcomes and improved user efficiency.
  • Experience performing customer research to deeply understand user needs and translate insights into actionable opportunities.
  • Excellent analytical and visualisation skills ability to distill complex business requirements into clear and actionable product features.
  • Working knowledge of LLMs and modern RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) techniques.
  • Basic prompting skills using leading models like Claude, GPT, or similar.
  • Practical experience in writing detailed PRDs, defining user stories, and setting clear acceptance criteria for technical teams.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills - ability to collaborate seamlessly with engineering, design, marketing, and leadership teams.
