Business Context and Position Overview

Viscadia is experiencing an exciting phase of growth, expanding our global presence and strengthening partnerships with leading pharmaceutical, biotech, and MedTech companies. As part of this exciting journey, we are seeking a seasoned and visionary leader to lead our Market Research CoE (India)—a role central to shaping the future of our insights-driven consulting offerings. This individual will be responsible for building and leading a high-performing Market Research Center of Excellence (MR CoE), driving innovation, and delivering strategic value to clients and internal stakeholders alike. The ideal candidate will bring a blend of deep domain expertise, leadership acumen, and a forward-thinking mindset to elevate Viscadia's market research capabilities globally.

Key Responsibilities

Leadership

• Serve as a strategic leader for the Market Research Center of Excellence (MR CoE), India, aligning team development with organizational goals. Champion the professional growth of managers and consultants through targeted hiring, mentoring, and capability-building initiatives.

• Drive client account growth and retention by delivering high-quality solutions, fostering thought leadership, and identifying new business opportunities. Ensure excellence in delivery and client satisfaction across engagements.

• Collaborate closely with senior leadership on both client-facing and internal priorities, contributing to the achievement of broader organizational objectives and the continuous development of high-performing teams.

Client Relationships

• Cultivate and expand strategic client relationships by engaging with key stakeholders, understanding their evolving needs, and delivering tailored solutions that address complex challenges. Act as a trusted advisor while managing resources effectively.

• Lead the creation and presentation of compelling, insight-driven responses to client requests—including RFPs and ad-hoc inquiries—ensuring alignment with client expectations and business goals.

Innovation and Product Development

• Spearhead the design and launch of innovative products and solutions within Market Research and Integrated Insights, focusing on:

• Delivering actionable insights that drive client decision-making.

• Enhancing operational efficiency and scalability across project delivery.

• Foster a culture of innovation by identifying emerging trends and translating them into differentiated offerings that strengthen Viscadia's value proposition.

Account Management

• Proactively identify and pursue cross-sell and up-sell opportunities within existing accounts, leveraging deep client understanding and strategic foresight.

• Establish clear goals and performance metrics for managers to drive account growth, client satisfaction, and long-term partnership success.

Organizational Growth

• Partner with India leadership to shape the strategic direction and scaling of the India team, ensuring alignment with global priorities and market demands.

• Lead initiatives to enhance and expand Viscadia's service offerings, particularly in forecasting and demand research, through capability development and service innovation.

Qualifications

• Functional Expertise: Proven track record in consulting within the Pharmaceutical and Biotechnology sectors, with a strong grasp of structured and unstructured client challenges and a solution-oriented mindset.

• Subject Matter Expertise: Deep understanding of Market Research and adjacent domains, with hands-on experience in forecasting and demand research for pharma/biotech assets. • Practice Leadership: Experience in leading large teams and practice areas, contributing to strategic growth and capability development.

• Team Leadership: Demonstrated success in building, mentoring, and managing high performing teams, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous learning.

• Project Delivery: Extensive experience in leading multiple client engagements, ensuring high standards in service quality, resource allocation, and stakeholder management.

• Account Management: Strong background in client relationship management, consistently meeting account-level targets through exceptional service delivery.

• Professional Experience: Over 10 years of experience in consulting, advisory, or service delivery roles, with a consistent record of impact and leadership.
