Position Summary
To achieve the organizational objectives to grow domestic sales and market share in respective territory. Ensure overall region business is achieved build platform for sustainable business growth by guiding the reporters in identification of new crops, new markets and help TM in working out short term and long-term business strategy.

The Role (Daily Responsibilities)
Sales & Market Growth
- Achieve region-wise sales targets (value & volume) with YoY growth.
- Improve crop-wise, product-wise, and territory-wise market share.
- Drive focus product, specialty portfolio, and new market opportunities.
Profitability & Budget Control
- Maximize net realization and profitable product mix.
- Deliver PO targets (Sales, Liquidation and Collection).
- Control selling & promotional expenses within budget norms.
Credit & Collections
- Maintain healthy debtor days and improve cash sales %.
- Ensure timely collections and minimize past dues.
- Monitor monthly collection targets vs achievement.
Depot & Inventory Management
- Maintain optimal inventory (season & off-season).
- Reduce expiry, near-expiry stocks, and value loss.
- Ensure smooth stock movement and higher inventory turnover.
Distribution & Channel Development
- Identify coverage, distributor, and dealer gaps.
- Appoint, develop, and monitor A grade distributors/dealers based on their financial strength and past performance.
- Strengthen retailer network and channel productivity, increasing share of wallet.
Team Leadership & Development
- Lead, coach, and monitor Sales Coordinators & Market Development Officers.
- Allocate targets and budgets based on market potential.
- Motivate team for productivity, reach, and execution excellence.
- Build future leaders and ensure strong team retention.
Demand Generation & Branding
- Create demand through demos, farmer meets, and campaigns.
- Execute branding initiatives (Campaigns, promotions).
- Build strong relationships with key farmers and influencers.
Planning, Reporting & Compliance
- Prepare short- and long-term regional business plans.
- Ensure ≥90% accuracy in RSP.
- Conduct monthly reviews, team meeting, and reportings.
- Maintain farmer, village, and dealer databases.
- Ensure compliance with business policies and core values.
Market Intelligence & Liaison
- Track market trends, competition, and farmer behavior.
- Convert market intelligence into actionable regional strategies.
The Candidate
- Strong understanding of Crop Agronomy, pests & disease management.
- Knowledge of farmer psychology and rural markets.
- Excellent sales planning, team leadership, and execution skills.
- Good geographical knowledge of Dhamtari and adjoining areas.
- Preferred qualifications B.sc Ag / M. Sc Ag / MBA ABM with a minimum of 8-10 years of experience in agro-chemical industries.
