Key Responsibilities
Counseling & Student Support (20% focus)
- Provide direct counseling and socio-emotional support to 10 high-risk students or families per grade.
- Develop and implement targeted support and investment plans using advanced counseling approaches.
- Establish monitoring and evaluation systems to track student/family progress, enabling reflection, problem-solving, and rapid turnaround for high-risk cases.
Coaching & Team Management (60% focus)
- Lead a team of 45 members comprising social workers, counsellors, and educators.
- Set ambitious goals for team members, create individual growth plans, and coach them to achieve life-changing outcomes for students.
- Build strong relationships with students, parents, School Management Committee (SMC), and community stakeholders to mobilize relevant partnerships.
- Co-create school culture and strategy alongside the School Principal.
- Establish efficient workflows, like sprint management, to improve outcome orientation, turnaround, and depth of work within the Special Needs Squad (SNS).
Project Management (20% focus)
- Design and execute projects supporting student, staff, and family well-being, including holistic development, community involvement, and innovation in school practices.
- Contribute to organizational development by leading initiatives such as professional development for the SNS and staff well-being programs.
- Measure outcomes, refine project implementation annually, and document plans for replication across other schools.
Prerequisites
- Exceptional performance as a counselor, social worker, or youth advisor for at least 2 years.
- Proven ability to contribute beyond direct responsibilities to the larger organizational ecosystem.
- Strong team leadership skills with the ability to deliver results.
- Preferred: Experience in coaching and developing social sector professionals.
