Job Purpose
We're looking for a Product Researcher who can turn messy customer behaviour, product data, and market signals into decisions that ship. This is not a reports and decks role. Your work should directly influence product strategy, roadmap prioritization, UX, pricing, and go-to-market. You will operate as a force multiplier for Product, Engineering, and Leadership, owning the research agenda end-to-endfrom problem framing to impact measurement.
Duties And Responsibilities
A- Minimum required Accountabilities for this role 1. Product & Customer Research (Core)
- Design and execute qualitative + quantitative research across the product lifecycle (discovery, validation, post-launch learning).
- Conduct user interviews, usability testing, JTBD analysis, diary studies, ethnography, etc.
- Translate raw insights into clear product bets, trade-offs, and recommendations.
- Identify unmet needs, latent pain points, and behavioral patternsnot just stated feedback. 2. Data-Informed Insight Generation
- Partner with Product Analytics / Data teams to:
- Analyze usage data, funnels, cohorts, churn drivers, feature adoption
- Validate hypotheses with real behavioral evidence
- Build lightweight insight models (segmentation, personas, archetypes) that evolve over time.
- Connect what users say with what they actually do. 3. Market, Competitive & Strategic Research
- Track market trends, emerging SaaS patterns, and competitive moves.
- Conduct win/loss analysis, pricing sensitivity studies, and positioning research.
- Support leadership with strategic narratives grounded in evidence, not opinion. 4. Influence & Decision Enablement
- Present insights in a way that drives decisions, not just awareness.
- Embed research findings into:
- Product PRDs
- Roadmap reviews
- Design critiques
- Quarterly planning and OKRs
- Push back when data contradicts intuitioncredibly and constructively. 5. Research Systems & Culture
- Define and evolve the research playbook (methods, templates, standards).
- Mentor junior researchers or product managers on research thinking.
- Build a culture where research is continuous, fast, and pragmaticnot ceremonial. B- Additional Accountabilities pertaining to the role
Required Qualifications And Experience
- Qualifications
- Post Graduates with relevant sales experience of 6-8 years (also graduates with experience of 8-10 years may apply) Skills
- Deep expertise in qualitative research methods.
- Solid grounding in quantitative analysis and product metrics.
- Ability to synthesize across research, analytics, and strategy.
- Strong storytelling and executive communication skills.
- Comfort working in ambiguity, fast iteration, and imperfect data. Mindset
- Product-first, outcome-obsessed.
- Comfortable challenging founders, PMs, and engineers when evidence demands it.
- Bias for action: good enough to decide over perfect but late. Nice to Have (But Not Mandatory)
- Experience with AI-driven products or data platforms.
- Exposure to pricing, monetization, or growth experiments.
- Background in enterprise SaaS, developer tools, or regulated industries.
- Hands-on experience with tools like Amplitude, Mixpanel, Looker, SQL, or experimentation platforms.
- Work Experience
- Relevant sales experience in managing large sales channels in multiple market environments
- Prior & relevant experience in the Financial Services Industry would be an added advantage.

- Demonstrated ability to lead from the front.

- 68 years in product research, UX research, market research, or similar roles.
- Proven experience in B2B or B2C SaaS products (multi-tenant, subscription-based).
- Strong track record of influencing product and business outcomes, not just producing studies.
