What Are We Looking For
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Tableau Developer to join our Tech team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data visualization, dashboard development, and performance optimization using Tableau. You will work closely with business stakeholders, data engineers, and analysts to deliver insightful and scalable dashboards that drive decision-making.
What You'll Do
- Design, develop, and maintain advanced Tableau dashboards and visualizations.
- Translate business requirements into technical specifications and create data visualizations that are clear, concise, and actionable.
- Optimize dashboard performance and implement best practices for data visualization.
- Collaborate with data engineering teams to ensure data accuracy and availability.
- Conduct peer reviews and provide guidance to junior developers.
- Stay updated with the latest Tableau features and industry trends.
Must Have
- 4 to 5.5 years of hands-on experience in Tableau development.
- Must have hands-on experience on integrating GenAI components and Out of the box features in tableau.
- Strong proficiency in creating complex dashboards, calculated fields, parameters, and level-of-detail (LOD) expressions.
- Solid understanding of data modeling, SQL, and data warehousing concepts.
- Experience with Tableau Server/Online for publishing and managing dashboards.
- Ability to troubleshoot performance issues and optimize dashboard load times.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience in integrating Tableau with other BI tools or platforms is preferrable.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and data lakes.
