We are looking for a lawyer with experience in disputes within the energy sector to join our practice. The role involves advising and representing clients in complex disputes related to power, renewable energy, oil & gas, and infrastructure projects, including litigation, arbitration, and regulatory proceedings.
Key Responsibilities:
- Handle litigation, arbitration, and regulatory disputes in the energy and infrastructure sector.
- Draft pleadings, written submissions, legal opinions, and case strategies.
- Conduct legal research and analysis on energy laws, regulations, and dispute-related matters.
- Represent clients before courts, tribunals, and regulatory authorities.
- Review and analyse energy project agreements, power purchase agreements, and related documentation.
- Work closely with partners and clients to develop dispute resolution strategies.
Key Requirements:
- 23 years of experience in disputes, with exposure to the energy or infrastructure sector.
- Strong drafting, research, and analytical skills.
- Experience in commercial litigation, arbitration, and regulatory matters.
- Ability to manage complex matters and work in a collaborative environment.
