Role Overview

We are looking for a highly execution-driven JIT Supply Chain – Central Operations Leader to manage centralized supply chain operations with a strong focus on Just-in-Time (JIT) supply planning, order flow optimization, and inventory efficiency.

This role will be responsible for ensuring seamless coordination between procurement, warehouses, vendors, and demand planning teams, enabling fast and reliable fulfillment while maintaining minimal inventory levels.

The ideal candidate will have strong experience in centralized supply chain operations, inventory planning, fulfillment operations, and cross-functional coordination, preferably in pharma, healthcare, e-commerce, FMCG, or manufacturing environments.

Key Responsibilities

JIT Supply Chain Execution

• Drive end-to-end Just-in-Time (JIT) supply chain operations across centralized systems.
• Ensure timely availability of products with minimal inventory holding.
• Optimize order-to-fulfillment workflows to reduce delays and improve service levels.
• Manage daily supply chain operations to ensure smooth and uninterrupted flow.

Central Operations Management

• Oversee centralized operational workflows across multiple warehouses or distribution centers.
• Monitor and manage order allocation, replenishment cycles, and fulfillment timelines.
• Ensure operational alignment between procurement, logistics, and warehouse teams.
• Maintain high accuracy in order processing and inventory movement.

Demand Planning & Inventory Optimization

• Collaborate with demand planning teams to align supply with forecasted demand.
• Optimize inventory levels, safety stock thresholds, and replenishment cycles.
• Monitor stock availability and proactively address shortages or overstock risks.
• Drive improvements in inventory turnover and working capital efficiency.

Vendor & Procurement Coordination

• Coordinate closely with procurement teams to ensure timely supplier deliveries.
• Monitor supplier lead times and improve vendor responsiveness.
• Support vendor scheduling aligned with JIT requirements.
• Carefully navigate vendor margins and have a good eye for numbers.

Technology & Data Utilization

• Ensure effective use of ERP/WMS systems for centralized operations.
• Develop dashboards to track supply chain KPIs.

Cross-Functional Coordination

• Work closely with procurement, warehouse, logistics, finance, and planning teams.
• Resolve operational issues quickly and effectively.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Engineering, or Business Administration
• MBA in Operations / Supply Chain Management preferred
• Certifications such as Six Sigma, Lean, APICS, or CIPS preferred

Experience Requirements

• 4-6+ years in SCM Consulting Experience or
• JIT-based supply chain environments
• Experience in multi-location supply environments
• Flexible with timings
• Prior experience in pharma, e-commerce, healthcare, FMCG, or manufacturing preferred
• Hands on with number crunching, has a good understanding of margins in numbers
