Key Responsibilities
- Lead industry research, market mapping, and client interface activities within the Industrials sector.
- Focus on core product-based industrial companies (primarily Indian) with less emphasis on services or e-commerce.
- Stay informed on emerging product trends, technologies, and market dynamics in the Industrials space.
- Participate in the end-to-end deal-making cycle for both buy-side and sell-side mandates.
- Manage client engagements across all stages of a transaction, including:
- Client meetings and presentations
- Bilateral discussions and negotiations
- Financial, commercial, and legal due diligence
- Transaction structuring and closure
- Lead preparation of mandate pitches, financial models, and valuation analyses.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless execution of mandates.
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with key clients and stakeholders.
Education
Qualifications & Experience:
- CA (First Attempt) or MBA from a premier institute (IIM/ISB/MDI/FMS).
- CFA certification will be an added advantage.
Experience
- Minimum 10+ years of experience in Investment Banking, preferably in the Industrials or Manufacturing sector.
- Proven track record of leading and closing transactions.
- Strong understanding of M&A processes, financial modeling, and valuation methodologies.
