About the Role
The person is responsible for leading the conceptual and copy development across campaigns. This role partners closely with art, strategy, and account teams.
Responsibilities
- Lead copy direction across multi-channel campaigns including digital, social, print, video, OOH, and experiential.
- Develop compelling concepts, scripts, taglines, long-form and short-form copy aligned with brand strategy.
- Collaborate with Creative Director and Art Director partners to translate ideas into visually and verbally powerful work.
- Guide and review the copy team's output to maintain tone, consistency, and excellence.
- Present creative ideas and campaigns to clients with strong storytelling and rationale.
- Ensure all communication adheres to brand guidelines and industry best practices.
- Oversee multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
- Mentor junior and mid-level copywriters, providing constructive feedback.
- Stay updated on industry trends, consumer insights, and emerging content formats.
- Support new business pitches by developing strategic and creative copy solutions.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Advertising, Communications, English, Marketing, or related field.
Required Skills
- 5+ years of copywriting experience in advertising/creative agencies.
- Strong portfolio showcasing conceptual thinking and multi-platform copy.
- Excellent command of language, storytelling, and brand voice development.
- Ability to lead creative teams and manage multiple projects.
- Experience working with designers, strategists, and account teams.
- Strong presentation and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with digital-first and social-first brands.
- Understanding of performance marketing, content trends, and platform nuances.
- Ability to turn briefs into disruptive, insight-led creative ideas.
- Familiarity with production processes for video, photo, and digital content.
