Position: Associate/Assistant Professor – Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning (AI/ML)

Role Overview: IIHMR University invites applications from enthusiastic and research-driven individuals for the role of Associate/AssistantProfessor in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning (AI/ML). The ideal candidate should demonstrate expertise in teaching, training, research, and consultancy, particularly in AI/ML with applications in healthcare, public health, and related interdisciplinary areas.

Qualification:

Ph.D. or equivalent + Master's degree (M. Tech/M.E./M.Sc./M.S.) in Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Data Science, Computer Science, or a related discipline from a globally recognized institution.

Required Skills:

• Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with faculty, staff, students, and external partners.
• Proficiency in using educational technology and learning management systems (e.g., Canvas, Blackboard).

Required Experience: 5-8 years of distinguished experience in teaching, training, research, and publications in reputed peer-reviewed journals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality teaching in Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Data Science, and related areas, using innovative pedagogy and continuously evaluating teaching methods to enhance student learning outcomes.
• Conduct impactful, application-driven research in AI/ML with relevance to healthcare, pharmaceutical, public health, and development sectors; publish in reputed peer-reviewed journals and contribute to funded research and consulting projects.
• Design, develop, and enrich curriculum in AI/ML, data analytics, and digital technologies to ensure academic relevance, industry alignment, and interdisciplinary integration.
• Contribute to executive education and training programs, offering advanced skills and practical applications of AI/ML for healthcare professionals and industry partners.
• Engage in continuous faculty development, keeping pace with emerging trends and tools in AI/ML and related technologies.
• Mentor and guide postgraduate and doctoral students, supporting their academic development, research work, and career growth.
• Support student recruitment and placement efforts by collaborating with academic offices, participating in outreach activities, and engaging with industry networks.
• Contribute to resource mobilization initiatives, including research grants, consultancy, and strategic collaborations.
• Work collaboratively with faculty and academic leaders to ensure quality standards, meet accreditation requirements, and foster partnerships with national and international stakeholders.
