Job Description

We are looking for a seasoned professional at the AVP level with a unique blend of business analysis and project management expertise. The ideal candidate excels at translating business strategy into scalable technology solutions and leading complex projects to successful completion. You will leverage deep expertise in MetricStream/Governance, Risk & Compliance (GRC) systems and strong cross‑functional leadership - combined with solid project management skills - to drive solution design, requirements execution, and on-time delivery of core audit workflows and platform enhancements. This role requires a strategic thinker who can simplify complexity, influence stakeholders, and deliver high‑quality outcomes on time and within scope across global teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead requirements discovery and solution design by collaborating with audit, technology, and vendor teams develop clear BRDs/FRDs, user stories, and process documentation.
  • Facilitate design workshops to architect scalable workflows and system enhancements that drive operational excellence.
  • Translate complex business needs into optimized MetricStream (M7) configurations and analytics that improve decision‑making and user experience.
  • Drive user‑group engagement (e.g., workshops, demos, UAT sessions) to validate needs, prioritize enhancements, and to ensure continuous improvement of Audit workflows based on user feedback.
  • Oversee end‑to‑end delivery for the M7 audit platform roadmap, including project planning, sprint execution, testing cycles, deployment, and user adoption. Apply project management best practices to ensure deliverables meet quality standards and timeline commitments.
  • Project management & governance: Maintain detailed project plans, schedules, and status reports. Proactively manage and mitigate project risks and issues by tracking dependencies and maintaining RAID logs (Risks, Actions, Issues, Decisions) . Ensure rigorous change control, quality assurance, and compliance with internal governance standards throughout the project lifecycle .
  • Cross-functional and vendor coordination: Lead coordination across global teams, ensuring effective communication between audit business units, IT and other stakeholders. Manage relationships with external vendors (MetricStream) to align on requirements, deliverables, and timelines, securing successful and timely implementation of M7 enhancements.
  • Change management and training: Develop training materials, user documentation, and communication plans to support the rollout of new M7 features and process changes. Drive change management initiatives that facilitate user adoption and smooth transition for audit teams implementing new system functionalities.

Experience and Education:

  • Minimum 8 years of combined experience in business analysis and project management roles, preferably in large-scale financial services or audit/risk technology projects. This includes demonstrated success in leading the design, implementation, and delivery of complex technical solutions within cross-functional or global teams.
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, Statistics, Financial Engineering, Economics, Finance, Mathematics, or a closely related quantitative field.

Certifications:

  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification (or equivalent project management certification) is strongly preferred, indicating a solid foundation in formal project management practices and methodologies
  • Any business analysis certifications (e.g., CBAP) or MetricStream GRC-related certifications would be advantageous.

Skills and competencies:

  • MetricStream (M7) expertise: Proven experience configuring and optimizing MetricStream (M7) or similar Governance, Risk & Compliance (GRC) platforms to support business processes. Deep understanding of audit workflow automation and GRC best practices in an internal audit context.
  • Project leadership: Strong project management skills, including proficiency in Agile/Scrum frameworks and traditional project methodologies, to drive software development cycles. Ability to manage project scope, schedule, and resources, and to guide projects through all phases of the software development lifecycle.
  • Cross-functional leadership: Excellent stakeholder management and coordination skills. Proven ability to influence and lead diverse teams (including business stakeholders, technical teams, and vendors) across multiple geographic locations to achieve common objectives.
  • Analytical and strategic thinking: Ability to break down complex business problems and perform detailed analysis, resulting in clear, actionable insights and innovative solutions. Comfort with ambiguity, with a talent for prioritizing tasks and making balanced decisions in a dynamic environment.
  • Communication: Outstanding written and verbal communication skills in English. Able to create clear documentation (requirements, project plans, status reports) and deliver effective presentations to senior management.
  • Results & quality focus: Demonstrated track record of delivering high‑quality results in technology projects. Vigilance in ensuring solutions meet regulatory, security, and quality standards, especially in a controlled financial/audit environment.
  • Continuous improvement mindset: Stays abreast of industry trends in audit technology, GRC tools, and project management, seeking opportunities to enhance platform capabilities and team processes.
