Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site position based in Bengaluru, India, for the role of an Assistant Sales Manager. The selected candidate will support the sales team in achieving targets, building and maintaining relationships with clients, crafting proposals, and identifying new business opportunities. Day-to-day tasks include conducting market research, preparing sales reports, assisting in client communications, coordinating marketing efforts, and ensuring customer service excellence. The role requires close collaboration with other departments and a proactive approach to problem-solving and achieving goals.
Qualifications
- Strong sales and client relationship management skills to identify and capitalize on business opportunities.
- Experience in market research, crafting proposals, and preparing accurate sales reports.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to liaise successfully with clients and team members.
- Proficiency in organization and time management to handle deadlines and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Basic understanding of the travel, tourism, or hospitality industry is advantageous.
- Bachelor's degree in Sales, Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field; a master's degree would be a plus.
