Assistant Professor of Fintech

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for an Assistant Professor of Fintech, based at Chandigarh University in Mohali district. The Assistant Professor will be responsible for delivering high-quality teaching in fintech-related subjects, developing and conducting research, guiding students in academic and professional development, and participating in curriculum design and innovation. Additional duties include contributing to departmental and university-level initiatives, engaging in scholarly activities, and fostering industry partnerships.

Qualifications

• Expertise in Fintech concepts, blockchain, cryptocurrency, and financial technologies.
• Proficiency in research methodologies, data analytics, and innovative problem-solving techniques.
• Excellent teaching skills with the ability to engage and inspire students effectively.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-disciplinary teams.
• A PhD in Finance, Fintech, or a related discipline is preferred (or equivalent experience).
• Prior academic or industry experience in fintech is highly desirable.
• Commitment to research and publication in reputed journals.
• Passion for contributing to academic growth and inspiring future fintech professionals.
