To facilitate the foundational learning of human anatomy for first-year medical students through modern pedagogical methods, hands-on dissection, and clinical integration.
- Key Responsibilities
- Teaching & Dissection:
- Conduct cadaveric dissections and demonstrate prosected parts to MBBS students.
- Lead histology practicals, including slide identification and microscopic anatomy.
- Facilitate Small Group Discussions (SGD) and Self-Directed Learning (SDL) sessions as per the CBME curriculum.
- Assessment & Mentorship:
- Prepare and grade internal assessment papers (theory and practical).
- Maintain student performance records and logs.
- Act as a Foundation Course mentor for new MBBS entrants.
- Research & Professional Growth:
- Initiate original research and participate in departmental projects.
- Aim for publications in indexed journals to qualify for future promotion.
- Assist in the maintenance of the Anatomy Museum and departmental library.
- Eligibility Criteria (NMC 2025 Updates) Category Educational Qualification Required Experience Medical Faculty MD / MS (Anatomy) 1 year as a Senior Resident in Anatomy in a recognized medical college after completing Post Graduation.
