Job Title: Assistant Manager – Procurement
Location: Bangalore
Job Summary:
We are looking for an Assistant Manager – Procurement to manage end-to-end procurement activities, including vendor management, purchase processes, and supply coordination. The role requires strong stakeholder management and the ability to ensure timely availability of materials across categories.
Key Responsibilities:
• Vendor development, evaluation, and onboarding
• End-to-end management of PR to PO cycle for Capex, Opex, perishables, spares, and new store requirements
• Drive cost-saving initiatives and optimize procurement spends
• Vendor reconciliation and closure of outstanding issues
• Regular follow-ups with internal teams and vendors to ensure seamless supply flow
• Ensure stock availability for Opex items based on demand planning
• Ensure 100% readiness for new store openings (materials, supplies, coordination)
• Manage spares and project-related POs and track timely execution
• Coordinate with warehouse and operations teams for timely deliveries
Preferred Qualifications & Skills:
• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Operations, or related field
• 4–7 years of experience in procurement/supply chain
• Strong negotiation and vendor management skills
• Good understanding of procurement processes (PR to PO lifecycle)
• Proficiency in MS Excel and ERP systems
• Strong coordination and stakeholder management skills
