B. KEY DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Payroll & HR Analyst is responsible for accurate end-to-end payroll processing and HR data analysis to support compliance, reporting, and data-driven decision-making across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
Payroll Management
- Manage end-to-end payroll processing, ensuring accurate calculation of salaries, overtime, incentives, bonuses, and statutory deductions.
- Handle employee tax calculations including TDS, declarations, proofs verification, and year-end tax adjustments.
- Ensure payroll compliance with company policies, salary structures, and statutory requirements.
- Coordinate attendance, leave, and payroll inputs; resolve payroll-related discrepancies in a timely manner.
- Address and resolve employee payroll-related grievances and queries effectively.
- Stay updated and ensure compliance with new wage code laws and other statutory regulations.
HR Data Analysis & Reporting
- Analyze payroll and HR data to generate insights on headcount, costs, attrition, absenteeism, and workforce trends.
- Prepare and maintain MIS reports for management review and decision-making.
- Support workforce planning, budgeting, and forecasting using accurate HR analytics.
- Identify trends and recommend improvements in HR processes and policies.
Systems & Tools
- Utilize advanced Excel functions (formulas, pivot tables, conditional formatting, lookups) for payroll reconciliation and reporting.
- Work on HRMS/payroll systems for data validation, configuration, and reporting (experience with Spine preferred).
- Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and timely updates in HR systems.
Key Requirements
- Minimum 4+ years of experience in payroll processing and HR analytics.
- Strong knowledge of payroll, taxation (TDS), and statutory compliance.
- Advanced Excel and analytical skills.
- Experience with HRMS/Payroll systems (Spine preferred).
- Understanding of labour laws and new wage code regulations.
- Strong problem-solving and stakeholder management skills.
C. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:

- Proactive in identifying process improvements and ensuring operational efficiency.
Preferred Qualifications
- Graduate/Postgraduate in Human Resources or related field
