Zolo's Student Housing vertical manages large, multi-property student communities across cities. These properties operate 365 days a year and require strong operational discipline to ensure cleanliness, food quality, safety, service standards, and parent trust.

As an Associate Manager Operations in this vertical, you oversee multiple student housing properties. You ensure on-ground teams perform, vendors deliver quality, budgets are controlled, and student experience remains consistent.

The end customers are students and their parents who expect safe, hygienic, well-managed living spaces with reliable service. This vertical is crucial because operational excellence directly drives retention, reputation, and scale.

What You Will Do Every Day (Practical Picture of the Role)

  • Support and monitor day-to-day operations across assigned student housing properties.
  • Manage and guide on-ground teams including Resident Managers, housekeeping, security, and vendors.
  • Conduct regular property visits, audits, and refresher training sessions.
  • Ensure SOP adherence and operational checklists are consistently followed.
  • Handle student and parent escalations with empathy and resolution focus.
  • Coordinate with vendors for housekeeping, food, security, and maintenance services.
  • Track property-level expenses and support adherence to budgets.
  • Work closely with Support, Maintenance, Procurement, and Finance teams.
  • Monitor food quality, hygiene standards, and student satisfaction.
  • Maintain operational trackers and MIS reports using Excel.
