Job Summary
We are hiring an Assistant Manager Production (Electrode Zone) to support EV lithium-ion cell manufacturing operations at our Gigafactory in Sanand. The role will manage shift production, electrode process operations, and team leadership to achieve manufacturing SQDC targets.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead electrode zone production operations for lithium-ion cell manufacturing lines.
- Manage 30+ operators/technicians in shift operations.
- Ensure production throughput, quality, safety, and statutory compliance.
- Drive 5S, autonomous maintenance, and manufacturing excellence.
- Handle production abnormalities, NG products, and CAPA implementation.
- Coordinate with Quality, Maintenance, SCM, and Process Engineering teams.
- Ensure SOP/WI compliance and process adherence.
- Monitor and update production data in MES / SAP systems.
Required Skills
- Experience in Lithium-ion cell manufacturing / Solar cell manufacturing / Paint / Flexible packaging manufacturing.
- Knowledge of electrode processes: Mixing, Feeding, Slot Die Coating, Calendaring.
- Strong exposure to manufacturing problem-solving tools (8D, Six Sigma, 7 QC Tools).
- Experience in production supervision, shift management, and team leadership.
Qualification
- B.E / B.Tech Mechanical, Electrical, or Electronics Engineering.
- Six Sigma certification preferred
