Job Title: Asst Manager Procurement
Qualification: B.Tech in Civil Engineering + Minimum 8-10 years of relevant experience in procurement within API / CDMO / CRO industries
Job Responsibilities:
Procurement Expertise
- Hands-on experience in the complete Procure-to-Pay (P2P) cycle
- With site experience person would be preferable.
- Procurement of Capex and Revenue items related to infra
- Handling and negotiation of Rate Contracts with suppliers and service providers
- Conducting infra/Civil/Misc works costing and rate analysis to ensure cost-effectiveness
- Administration of service contracts and performance tracking
Cost & Compliance
- Strong aptitude for cost optimization and value engineering
- Working knowledge of taxation systems, including GST, insurance, and other statutory requirements
- Experience in handling Letters of Credit (LCs), shipment tracking, and minimizing demurrage charges
Operational Exposure
- Regular visits to manufacturing plants for supplier audits and project coordination
- Preparation of MIS reports and procurement analytics for management review
- Proficiency in ERP systems for procurement and inventory management
Analytical & Communication Skills
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting
- Strong command over email communication and business correspondence
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Effective interpersonal skills for cross-functional collaboration
Vendor Management
- Strategic sourcing and new vendor development
- Conducting vendor evaluation and rating based on quality, delivery, cost, and compliance
- Building long-term relationships with reliable suppliers
