Job Description

Key responsibilities:

  • Drafting, reviewing, organising and executing a broad range of commercial contracts and business-related documentation, including master service agreements, vendor agreements, distributor agreements, brand partnership agreements, construction agreements, recruitment agreements, works contracts, NDAs, statement of work, transaction documents such as shareholder and share subscription agreements, term sheets, etc.
  • Providing advisory assistance on general corporate matters.
  • Negotiation with clients (across multiple jurisdictions) and inter- and intra-company communication with business teams.
  • Reviewing and negotiating contracts for business lines including marketplace, technology, logistics, SAAS and other business contracts.
  • Assessing risk under contracts and proposing approp riatemitigations
  • Researching on the compliance-related requirements for e-commerce entities.
  • Assistance with dispute resolution relating to commercial contracts
  • Providing advice to internal stakeholders on contractual positions and policies.
  • Support the standardisation of contracts, templates, and operating procedures.
  • Contract management for multiple businesses.
  • Collaboration with internal and external teams.

Qualifications :

  • Lawyer with an LLB / LLM from a reputed college in India and prior experience of 3-4 years in corporate and commercial law.
  • Strong drafting and oral and written communication skills.
  • Strong analytical, organisational and problem-solving skills.
  • Willingness to draft and review a wide range of documents, agreements and compliance requirements.
  • Willingness to join in-person in the company's office in Kalina.
  • Consistently punctual, professional and reliable.
  • Strong team spirit.
