Job Description
The role is responsible for managing financial accounting, internal MIS, statutory compliance, and financial reporting while supporting business decision-making through accurate analysis, reporting, and systemdriven controls.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Financial Accounting & Closure
- Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closures in compliance with IND AS and IGAAP.
- Ensure accurate accounting entries, reconciliations, provisions, and accruals.
- Maintain books of accounts and ensure timely finalization of financial statements.
- MIS & Management Reporting
- Prepare and analyze monthly Profit & Loss statements and management MIS. Provide variance analysis, trend analysis, and actionable insights to management.
- Support business teams with financial data for performance tracking and decision-making.
- Consolidation & Reporting
- Handle consolidation of financials for group entities.
- Ensure consistency and accuracy across standalone and consolidated reports.
- Coordinate with auditors for consolidated financial statements.
- Statutory & Regulatory Compliance
- Ensure compliance with Companies Act requirements, including schedules and disclosures.
- Manage GST compliance including returns, reconciliations, and assessments.
- Support statutory, internal, and tax audits with accurate data and documentation.
- Systems & Automation
- Work extensively on SAP for accounting, reporting, and controls.
- Use Hyperion for financial reporting, planning, and consolidation activities.
- Develop dashboards and reports using Power BI for management visibility.
- Drive process improvements and automation to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
- Data Analysis & Controls
- Leverage Advanced Excel for data analysis, financial modeling, and reporting.
- Strengthen internal financial controls and SOPs.
- Ensure data integrity across finance systems and reports.
- Education Qualification & Experience
- CA and B. Com with at least 2 to 4 years of experience in accounting, MIS, statutory compliance,
- INDAS, IGAAP, consolidation, system and automation.
- Minimum 2 to 4 years of relevant experience in Finance & Accounts
- Experience in corporate or group reporting environment preferred
Key Skills & Knowledge
- Strong understanding of IND AS, IGAAP, Companies Act, and GST
- Expertise in SAP and Advanced Excel.
- Good to have- Power BI or Hyperion
- Sound knowledge of financial closures, consolidation, and MIS reporting
- Analytical mindset with attention to detail
- Strong coordination and communication skills
