Assistant Manager – Engineering

Engineering Operations Management

• Ensure smooth functioning of all MEP systems including electrical, HVAC, plumbing, lifts, PAC, and cafeteria equipment

• Execute preventive maintenance schedules (52-week plan) as per OEM standards

• Monitor daily logbooks, checklists, and system performance reports

• Ensure 100% uptime of critical facility systems

Preventive Maintenance & Technical Support

• Coordinate and track preventive and breakdown maintenance activities

• Ensure closure of work orders through facility management tools (Archibus, IMT, VMT, QMS)

• Maintain equipment history cards and maintenance documentation

• Support troubleshooting of engineering issues on-site

Energy Management & Optimization

• Implement energy conservation initiatives across facility systems

• Track and reduce utility consumption and operational costs

• Support CAPEX and OPEX planning with engineering inputs

Vendor & Contract Management

• Coordinate with vendors for maintenance execution as per SLA

• Ensure adherence to OEM guidelines and service quality standards

• Monitor vendor performance and escalate deviations

Compliance & Statutory Management

• Ensure statutory compliance for fire, lift, pollution, and safety regulations

• Maintain documentation for audits and inspections

• Support ISO and internal/external audits

Facility & Infrastructure Management

• Oversee building systems including HVAC, DG sets, water systems, and electrical networks

• Support renovation and small engineering projects from initiation to closure

• Coordinate with builders and transition teams for facility operations

Reporting & Documentation

• Prepare daily, weekly, monthly, and yearly engineering reports

• Maintain logs, incident reports, equipment records, and SLA reports

• Track energy, compliance, and maintenance performance metrics

Team & Stakeholder Coordination

• Support onboarding and training of engineering staff

• Coordinate with Facility Manager, Chief Engineer, and DM teams

• Manage VIP visits and operational escalations
