The entry of international brands in the Indian apparel market has tremendously increased the competition for all MFL brands. To keep up the competitive edge there is a need for the design team to constantly innovate and create concepts and range which can bring excitement to the customers. The design team needs to work on well rounded concept development in line with trends and brand brief and provide cutting edge merchandize for retail as well as non-retail channels. The approach to develop collection should have ample scope for commercial success. An emphasis needs to be given to Product presentation and packaging as per the defined International benchmarks.
