Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Own and manage the IT and Telecom procurement categories, including but not limited to:
IT hardware (Servers, Storages, AV/VC, Laptops, etc.)
Telecom
IT services
Mobility services
- Develop and execute category strategies aligned with business objectives and budget targets.
- Sourcing and contracting.
- Lead end-to-end sourcing activities: RFQ/RFP, supplier evaluation, negotiations, and contract finalization.
- Negotiate commercially robust contracts with favorable pricing, service levels, and risk mitigation clauses.
- Ensure contracts comply with company policies, legal requirements, and governance standards.
- Supplier and stakeholder management. Build and manage strategic supplier relationships to ensure service continuity and performance excellence.
- Monitor supplier performance through KPIs and SLAs, addressing gaps and driving continuous improvement.
- Act as a trusted procurement partner to internal stakeholders.
- Cost Optimization and risk management.
- Identify and deliver cost savings, cost avoidance, and value creation initiatives.
- Monitor market trends, benchmarking, and cost drivers in IT and Telecom services.
- Proactively identify and mitigate commercial, operational, and compliance risks.
Process and Governance
- Ensure adherence to procurement policies, approval matrices, and audit requirements.
- Improve procurement processes, documentation, and reporting for the assigned categories.
- Support digital procurement tools and data-driven decision-making.
