Inviting applications for the role of Assistant Manager, Business Analyst with Alteryx and Power BI Experience!
In this role, we are seeking a highly analytical and results-driven Agile Business Analyst with strong expertise in Alteryx, Power BI, and Agile delivery methodologies. The ideal candidate will have proven experience in the Investment Banking domain, with the ability to gather complex business requirements, translate them into user stories, and deliver data-driven solutions that support regulatory, operational, and strategic initiatives.
This role requires a strong blend of business analysis, data analytics, stakeholder management, and Agile execution skills.

Responsibilities
1. Agile Business Analysis & Delivery
.Collaborate with Product Owners and stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document business requirements.
.Translate requirements into detailed user stories with clear acceptance criteria.
.Manage and prioritize product backlogs using JIRA.
.Participate in sprint planning, backlog grooming, daily stand-ups, demos, and retrospectives.
.Ensure traceability of requirements through development, testing, and deployment.

2. Requirement Gathering & Stakeholder Management
.Conduct workshops and stakeholder interviews across Front Office, Middle Office, Operations, Risk, and Compliance teams.
.Perform gap analysis and impact assessment for new initiatives and regulatory changes.
.Create functional requirement documents (FRDs), business requirement documents (BRDs), and process flow diagrams.
.Serve as liaison between business teams and technical/data teams.

3. Data Analytics & Automation (Alteryx)
.Design and develop automated workflows using Alteryx for data extraction, transformation, and reporting.
.Perform data cleansing, blending, and validation across multiple financial systems.
.Optimize workflows for performance, scalability, and audit compliance.
.Support data quality and governance initiatives.

4. Reporting & Visualization (Power BI)
.Develop interactive dashboards and management reports using Power BI.
.Build data models, DAX calculations, KPIs, and executive-level reporting metrics.
.Implement row-level security and best practices for financial reporting.
.Deliver actionable insights for regulatory reporting, revenue tracking, deal pipelines, and operational metrics.

5. Investment Banking Domain Support
.Support initiatives related to:
oTrade lifecycle management
oClient onboarding (KYC/AML)
oRegulatory reporting
oCapital markets and deal tracking
oRisk and compliance analytics
.Ensure alignment with regulatory standards and audit requirements.
.Assist in data reconciliation and reporting accuracy across systems.

6. Testing & Quality Assurance
.Develop test cases and support SIT/UAT cycles.
.Validate solutions against acceptance criteria and business objectives.
.Coordinate defect tracking and resolution with development teams.

Qualifications we seek in you!
Minimum Qualifications
.Bachelors degree in Business, Finance, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.
.Relevant years of experience as a Business Analyst in Agile environments.
.Hands-on experience with Alteryx for data transformation and automation.
.Relevant years of experience developing dashboards and reports in Power BI.
.Strong experience with JIRA for backlog management and Agile tracking.
.Proven experience writing user stories and conducting requirement gathering sessions.
.Solid experience in the Investment Banking or Capital Markets domain.
.Strong understanding of SQL and relational databases.
.Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Qualifications/ Skills
.Alteryx Designer Core/Advanced Certification.
.Microsoft Power BI Certification (PL-300 or equivalent).
.Experience with regulatory frameworks (SEC, FINRA, MiFID II, Dodd-Frank).
.Experience integrating data from trading platforms, risk systems, or enterprise data warehouses.
.Familiarity with Power Platform (Power Automate, Power Apps).
.Scrum certification (CSM, SAFe, or equivalent).
.Experience working in global banking environments.
.Knowledge of Python or R for advanced analytics.
