Job Description

Job Title: Assistant Manager Ramp SCC

Key Responsibilities

  • Flight Coordination:
    • Confirm Estimated Time of Arrival (ETA) from OCC system.
    • Coordinate bay allocation with Apron Control and ensure complete communication
    • Ensure presence at the bay 20 minutes before flight arrival with all required equipment.
  • Ramp Operations:
    • Monitor touchdown and chocks timing; relay updates to teams
    • Oversee aligning of ramp equipment and ensure availability of coaches for passenger deplaning.
    • Supervise baggage handling to ensure timely delivery to arrival area.
  • Turnaround Management:
    • Oversee aircraft cleaning and obtain boarding clearance from cabin crew.
    • Ensure loading is done per the Loading Instruction Report (LIR) from Load & Trim staff.
    • Post-departure, ensure all equipment is returned to the transport yard.
  • Safety & Compliance:
    • Adhere to safety responsibilities as per IndiGo's Safety Management System (SMS).
    • Conduct pre-flight and post-flight briefings with ground staff.
    • Ensure compliance with SOPs and regulatory guidelines.
  • Team Supervision & Reporting:
    • Supervise ramp staff and allocate duties effectively.
    • Maintain shift logs and ramp filling documentation.
    • Report incidents and compile daily operational reports.
