Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for an Assistant Manager - Ad Sales based in Gurgaon. The Assistant Manager will manage advertising partnerships, execute sales strategies, build client relationships, and oversee ad sales campaigns. Additional responsibilities include training team members, analyzing market trends, providing excellent customer service to clients, and delivering high-quality results that align with company objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Accelerate Revenue: Drive business growth by selling premium digital advertising solutions across our high-traffic automotive and tech verticals.
  • Pipeline Management: Build and maintain a robust sales pipeline by targeting Tier-1 automotive brands, auxiliary industries (tires, lubricants, insurance), and digital agencies.
  • Strategic Consultative Selling: Identify brand challenges and tailor high-impact ad solutions, including display, native integrations, and specialized content properties.
  • Cross-Functional Synergy: Partner with our internal Content, Strategy, and Campaign teams to build winning pitches and execute seamless brand integrations.
  • Relationship Mapping: Develop and nurture deep-rooted connections with Media Agencies, Brand Managers, and Marketing Heads in the Auto and Consumer Tech space.
  • Market Intelligence: Stay ahead of the curve by tracking automotive market shifts, competitor moves, and emerging trends in the digital publishing ecosystem.
  • Hit the Redline: Consistently meet and exceed monthly/quarterly revenue targets to drive the company's growth trajectory.

Requirements:

  • Experience: 3–7 years in Digital Media Sales, with a proven track record of selling to the Automotive or Consumer Tech sectors.
  • Network: An established black book of contacts within major digital agencies and brand advertisers across India.
  • Platform Savvy: A solid understanding of digital advertising ecosystems, audience targeting, and high-intent lead generation.
  • Communication: Exceptional presentation and negotiation skills—you should be as comfortable pitching to a CMO as you are talking shop with an agency lead.
  • The Petrolhead Mindset: A self-starter attitude with a genuine passion for the automotive industry and a drive for relationship-building.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Business or Marketing (MBA is a plus).
