About the Role
We are looking for a Assistant Director to support the execution of video shoots and production activities. You will work closely with the director and creative team to ensure smooth coordination on set, manage schedules, and help bring creative concepts to life. The role also involves supporting content direction and post-production coordination; knowledge of Telugu, Tamil, and Hindi is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Assist the director in planning and executing video shoots
- Coordinate with cast, crew, and internal teams during production
- Help manage shoot schedules, call sheets, and timelines
- Ensure smooth on-set operations and adherence to the shoot plan
- Support in organising props, locations, and production requirements
- Act as a communication bridge between different teams on set
- Assist in directing content across multiple languages as required
- Coordinate with editors during post-production and guide them on shot selection and content flow
- Be open and flexible to travel for shoots as required
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Prior experience in video production or as an Assistant Director (preferred)
- Strong organisational and coordination skills
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
- Good understanding of shoot workflows and production processes
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
- Ability to speak and understand Telugu, Tamil, and Hindi
- Ability to assist in directing content in these languages
Preferred Skills
- Experience in advertising, short films, or digital content production
- Basic knowledge of camera, lighting, and production equipment
- Creative thinking and attention to detail
