Job Summary
We are looking for a motivated
SAP PP/QM Consultant with
2–3 years of relevant experience and
hands-on exposure to SAP S/4HANA. The ideal candidate should have a strong foundation in
Production Planning (PP) and
Quality Management (QM) processes, with the ability to support implementations, enhancements, and day-to-day operations. Exposure to the
Plant Maintenance (PM) module will be an added advantage.
Key Responsibilities
SAP PP (Production Planning):
- Support configuration and maintenance of PP processes in SAP S/4HANA
- Assist in MRP execution, production order processing, and capacity planning
- Work on master data such as BOMs, routings/recipes, and work centers
- Support material staging, backflush, and production confirmations
- Collaborate with business users to resolve day-to-day production issues
SAP QM (Quality Management)
- Support quality processes including incoming, in-process, and final inspections
- Maintain QM master data such as inspection plans and inspection characteristics
- Assist in handling quality notifications and basic non-conformance processes
- Ensure integration between QM and PP modules
Implementation & Support
- Participate in SAP S/4HANA implementation/support projects (at least 1 project exposure preferred)
- Assist in requirement gathering, fit-gap analysis, and basic configuration
- Support testing activities (unit testing, UAT) and documentation
- Provide post-go-live support and user assistance
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with MM, WM, and other modules for integrated process support
- Exposure to Plant Maintenance (PM) processes is a plus
- Support issue resolution and coordinate with technical teams when required
Qualifications & Skills
- 2–3 years of hands-on experience in SAP PP and QM modules
- Mandatory: Hands-on experience in SAP S/4HANA
- Basic understanding of manufacturing business processes
- Exposure to at least one implementation/support project
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Good communication and stakeholder interaction skills
Good To Have
- Exposure to SAP PM (Plant Maintenance) module
- Experience in FMCG / Manufacturing / Pharma industries
- Knowledge of integration with MM and other logistics modules
