About the Role:

We are looking for a dynamic Assistant Brand Manager with experience in FMCG or Beauty brands who can lead Brand Visibility, Market Expansion, Product Launches and increase Market Share. The role requires strong business acumen, consumer understanding, and the ability to work cross-functionally to deliver impactful brand initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

Brand Growth & Management

  • Identify growth opportunities through market analysis, consumer insights, and category trends
  • Lead the development and execution of brand strategies to increase market share, brand equity, and revenue growth.
  • Monitor brand performance, trends and competitor activities in the segment.
  • Ensure consistent brand positioning and communication across all channels.

Sales & Channel Collaboration

  • Work closely with sales teams to drive sell-through and brand visibility across salons, retail stores, and distribution partners.
  • Develop initiatives that improve secondary sales and repeat purchase.
  • Lead trade marketing initiatives and online/retail visibility programs.

Marketing & Campaign Execution

  • Plan and execute integrated ATL, BTL, digital, and retail marketing campaigns. 
  • Work with agencies for campaign ideation, creative development and execution. 
  • Drive social media, influencer collaborations and brand activations. Ensure campaigns align with brand strategy and deliver measurable impact.

P&L Ownership & Financial Management

  • Lead & execute promotional strategy to drive growth and  improvement in revenue.
  • Evaluate ROI of marketing campaigns, promotions and product launches.
  • Monitor brand financial performance and recommend actions to improve profitability.
  • Work with finance and sales teams on forecasting, budgeting and cost optimization.

Market & Consumer Insights

  • Analyze consumer behavior, market data, and category trends.
  • Conduct competitive analysis and identify growth opportunities.
  • Use insights to refine marketing and product strategies.

Performance Tracking & Reporting

  • Track campaign performance and marketing ROI. 
  • Prepare monthly brand performance reports including P&L analysis. 
  • Provide insights and recommendations to improve brand performance.

Product Launch & Portfolio Management

  • Lead new product launches, relaunches and innovation projects from concept to launch. 
  • Coordinate with R&D, supply chain, packaging, sales and finance teams to chart placement and GTM strategies.
  • Identify portfolio gaps and recommend new product & positioning opportunities.

Required Skills:

  • Strong understanding of brand building and marketing strategy. 
  • Strong business and financial understanding (P&L exposure) 
  • Analytical mindset with data-driven decision making 
  • Strong project management and execution capability 
  • Ability to work with cross-functional teams 
  • Understanding of consumer insights and brand strategy
  • Creativity combined with commercial thinking
  • Excellent communication and coordination skills. 
  • Ability to manage agencies, vendors and cross-functional teams.

Experience:

  • 3–7 years of experience in FMCG / Beauty / Personal Care brands 
  • Experience in brand marketing, innovation or category management
