ASIC Platform Software Architect, Silicon

Role Responsibilities:

1. Collaborate with stakeholders to define user experience requirements and map them to hardware and software.
2. Design system architecture and software interfaces to enable application developers to leverage hardware accelerators and other IP.
3. Analyze interactions between hardware components, identify issues, and propose trade-off solutions.
4. Contribute to hardware design improvements based on lessons learned and technical debt reduction from previous product iterations.

Job Requirements:

1. Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent practical experience.
2. 5 years of experience in software development for consumer electronics or embedded systems.
3. 3 years of experience in driving ASIC architecture decisions from a software perspective.
4. Experience with Linux kernel, bootloaders, SoC, low-power management frameworks, or performance analysis.
