Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for an Article Trainee at S L S & Co., located in Delhi, India. The Article Trainee will assist in auditing, tax compliance, preparation of financial statements, and other consultancy services offered by the firm. Primary responsibilities include analyzing financial data, helping with statutory filings, supporting internal and external audits, and gaining hands-on exposure to diverse financial and regulatory processes. The role offers a valuable opportunity to work closely with experienced Chartered Accountants and industry professionals in a dynamic environment.
Qualifications
- Foundational knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting
- Proficiency in basic auditing procedures and understanding of tax compliance
- Good analytical, problem-solving, and research skills
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills for client interactions
- Proficiency in using accounting software and MS Office tools
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team and meet deadlines under supervision
- Bachelor's degree or ongoing study in Commerce, Accounting, or a related field
- Enrollment in the Chartered Accountancy program (preferred but not mandatory)
- Keen interest in gaining practical knowledge of financial, auditing, and taxation services
