Role Description
This is an on-site internship role for an Article Assistant, based in Kolkata. The Article Assistant will be responsible for supporting auditing, accounting, and taxation processes, as well as preparing financial statements and assisting with compliance tasks. Additionally, the role will involve data analysis, documentation, and liaising with clients under the supervision of senior team members to ensure accurate and timely deliverables.
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of Accounting concepts and principles, and experience with financial reporting
- Skills in auditing practices and familiarity with statutory compliance processes
- Proficiency in tax laws and the ability to prepare and review tax filings
- Proficient in the use of accounting software and tools, as well as Microsoft Excel and Word
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a professional demeanor
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple tasks effectively
- Enrollment in or completion of CA articleship training is required
- Bachelor's degree in Commerce or a related field is preferred
