3. Art Director
Purpose: Lead creative vision and visual storytelling, elevating brand expression through outstanding design direction across campaigns and brand touchpoints.
Key Responsibilities:
- Direct visual creative direction for integrated campaigns across all channels
- Lead design concepts from ideation through to final execution
- Mentor and guide designers and artworkers, elevating team capabilities
- Collaborate with copywriters to develop integrated creative concepts
- Present creative work to stakeholders and incorporate feedback
- Ensure creative output meets brand standards and regulatory requirements
- Partner with external agencies and production partners on creative execution
- Stay current with design trends and bring fresh thinking to the brand
Requirements:
- 5+ years experience in art direction roles, preferably in agency or in-house brand teams
- Strong portfolio demonstrating solid conceptual thinking and visual craft
- Expert knowledge of design principles and Adobe Creative Suite
- Demonstrated experience directing photography, video, and motion design projects
- Strong presentation skills and proven ability to communicate creative concepts to stakeholders
- Good stakeholder management skills and ability to incorporate feedback constructively
- Understanding of digital-first creative and multi-channel campaign execution
- Experience in financial services or regulated industries beneficial
- Leadership capability with ability to inspire and develop creative talent
- Knowledge of brand guidelines and regulatory compliance requirements
- Design review and feedback capability
