The Brand and Performance Art Director is responsible for elevating Scaler's visual narrative across marketing, paid media, and brand-led campaigns. This role exists to translate business and consumer insights into powerful, high-performing creative outcomes. You will drive concept development, mentor designers, and craft visual stories that strengthen the brand and deliver measurable impact.
Responsibilities
- Translate business, product, and marketing briefs into high-quality creative concepts and campaigns.
- Create and oversee visual outputs across static, motion, video, and digital ad formats.
- Collaborate with copywriters, marketing managers, and brand teams to build integrated campaigns.
- Mentor, guide, and review the work of junior designers to maintain high creative standards.
- Develop and maintain a consistent visual language aligned with brand strategy.
- Adapt concepts to multiple digital distribution channels for performance marketing.
- Create audience-first storytelling that increases engagement, recall, and conversions.
- Maintain an organized repository of assets and promote design best practices within the team.
Requirements
- 3-5 years of experience in art direction, brand design, or performance design in a startup, creative agency, or digital-first environment.
- Strong mastery of visual design, illustration, motion graphics, and storytelling.
- Hands-on experience with Adobe Suite, Figma, animation tools, and AI-assisted creative workflows.
- Ability to think from consumer insight to creative execution with demonstrated portfolio impact.
- Experience mentoring designers and working cross-functionally in fast-paced environments.
- Strong attention to detail, process excellence, and ability to deliver high-quality output under tight timelines.
