Job Overview
We are looking for a
creative and experienced Art Director (3D) to lead the conceptualization and execution of innovative spatial and experiential designs for events, exhibitions, and brand environments. The ideal candidate will bring strong design leadership, technical expertise, and a passion for immersive brand experiences.
Key Responsibilities
3D Creative Strategy Conceptualization
- Lead ideation and development of 3D design strategies aligned with client objectives, brand identity, and audience engagement.
Project-Based Design Leadership
- Drive the creative development of spatial and environmental design projects from concept to execution while ensuring innovation and practicality.
Design Team Management Mentorship
- Guide and mentor a team of 3D designers and visualizers , reviewing work and enhancing team capabilities through knowledge sharing.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Collaborate with Business, Client Servicing, Content, and Operations teams to develop pitch-winning design concepts.
Execution Vendor Coordination
- Ensure design outputs align with fabrication, production, and vendor capabilities for seamless project execution.
Trend Research Innovation
- Stay updated on global trends in experiential design, materials, and technology to bring fresh ideas to projects.
Client Presentations Pitch Support
- Participate in client presentations and pitches, articulating creative vision and execution feasibility.
Quality Assurance
- Maintain high standards in visual storytelling, 3D modeling, and design consistency across all deliverables.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Interior Design, Exhibition Design, Architecture, or related field
- 12-15 years of experience in 3D design within events, exhibitions, or experiential marketing
- Minimum 2-3 years in a leadership or Art Director role
- Strong portfolio showcasing large-scale event spaces, exhibitions, and experiential design projects
Required Skills
- Proficiency in 3ds Max, SketchUp, Cinema 4D, V-Ray, and Adobe Creative Suite
- Strong understanding of spatial planning, materials, fabrication, and structural feasibility
- Excellent visual storytelling and experiential design skills
- Ability to lead brainstorming sessions and mentor junior designers
- Strong presentation and client communication skills
- High attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple projects in fast-paced environments
